That book has some flaws but it provides a genuine workable system for magical practice.
This piece of rubbish from JLB does nothing of the kind. The deplorable quality of the writing and the plethora of inexcusable typographical mistakes correlate very highly to the baseless and illogical "ideas" presented in this endeavor. Vivian Godfrey must be spinning in her grave.
As an initiated anr practising Ogdoatic adept, initiated into the Aurum Solis before the excommunication of the USA houses and subsequently into a contacted successor order, I can state from experience that this hodge-podge presented by JLB has no workable basis, and the only possible reason I can discern for his attempting to rewrite the entirely workable and practical system presented over decades by Denning & Philips is to piggyback on their work in an attempt to sell books.
I have discussed this in depth with several friends within the Ogdoatic tradition and the only people in favor of JL's efforts are the people who don't actually do any of the work and just sit around arguing about the theory.
