Managing Now ReviewThis textbook may be good for high school students or those who worship at the feet of antiquated business models and ideals (we're talking the likes of Coke, Walmart, Enron, etc. as hallowed examples), but I was totally annoyed to have to get it for a Masters of Library and Information Science required course. The information is incredibly basic for the price. There were some useful tidbits, and good infographics, but ultimately it felt like a rip-off, and I got it used. I think the ridiculous photo on the cover probably says it all, right? Cheesy and overpriced. You could get more from just searching the old internets. And, I barely had to crack this book for the class.Managing Now OverviewNew for 2008, Managing Now! addresses how Internet and intranet based technologies are transforming how managers run companies.
