There are a few thing Jay Rose added to this book that were not in the first edition. This book and also Rose's "Producting Great Sound for Digital Video" are well organized, clearly written and have greatly helped my understanding of how to deal with sound both in production and post. He goes into much detail regarding postproduction manipulation of sound.
